The good news is that most visitor attractions both indoors and outdoors are hoping to be fully open in time for the summer and that means work for all those performers who are involved at places like Chessington, Flamingo Park, the Dungeons and numerous other great crowd-pullers.
Merlin has continued to invest despite the setbacks of the pandemic and the company has recently announced that a new ride is to be unveiled in May at Legoland in time for the maion season.
Called Mythica it takes visitors on a journey through a spectacle of well-known mythological creatures. Merlin tells us “Prepare to buckle up and soar into a mystical realm powered by imagination on three major new attractions, including the UK’s first Flying Theatre Ride. Each one offering the guests that dare enter the portal the once in a lifetime chance to discover the immense and hidden powers of Lego Mythica and the creatures that call it home.”
Sounds like fun.
Elsewhere in the Dungeons dotted around Britain and Europe the dust is being blown ONTO the costumes and where he is featured, Jack The Ripper will once again stalk the brilliantly-created streets of East London. There is no doubt that he would not have been so scary wearing a surgical face mask!
After such a tough time, it is good to see those involved in visitor attractions able to smile again!
